Sweden I'm coming!

As I mentioned in the last post the distribution of the places for our student exchange took place in Brugg yesterday. And as you can see on the right side the outcome for me was very satisfying and I will be going to study in Sweden, starting at the end of August this year. I got the place I was hoping for so I will be studying at Mälardalen University in Västerås near Stockholm. Of course I am already looking forward to this stay in Sweden a lot but at first there is still some time to go until then and a whole semester to finish.

Ready for Semester 2 of 6

Once again I haven't updated my blog for a long time and so there have been many things happening since then. I have survived the stressful exam time as well as the last "Studi-Party" of the semester. I had to say good bye to many exchange students who left Switzerland after the end of the semester and I had the joy to say hello to those of them who are staying for a second semester and also to many new visiting students at our university.

Then I also enjoyed the days in Dublin with rain and sunshine, Guinness and shopping and loads of fun and of course after the two weeks of holiday the second semester started and we got the exam results of the first semester. These results where very good in my case and I passed all modules so that I can now concentrate on the second semester and on my own (one or hopefully two) semesters abroad. This is also a reason why I will start up a new category about my student exchange on this blog, starting with this post. The first "milestone" in this matter is going to take place on Friday 13. March in Brugg. On that day all the available places at our partner universities will be distributed and I hope I will be lucky and end up at the university I really want to go...
